Charlotte Hegele was born in Toronto but spent most of her formative years in London, Ontario. Although Hegele began acting in community theatre, she knew film was where her ambitions lay. She returned to Toronto in 2008 to attend Humber College's Acting for Film and Television Diploma Program.
