Catherine was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley as an only child. She grew up in a rough neighborhood, where performance, activism and art were her most cherished forms of escape. She worked her way up to VP of business development at an advertisement company before she left this position in 2014 to pursue acting full-time in Los Angeles. She discovered her passion for storytelling through her imaginary siblings and her family who immigrated to the USA, "Life of Pi" style.
