Bryan Stamp was born Bryan Todd Thompson on July 25th in Rochester, New York, USA to Irene Thompson. Irene married Steve Stamp and they had two children... Steve Jr, and Ariel. Thus Bryan is the eldest of three siblings. At age 9 Bryan was legally adopted by Steve Sr, and became Bryan Stamp. With his tall slender build, very fair skin, dark curly thick hair, deep blue eyes, strong jaw, cleft chin, and near flawless smile... his look is considered quite distinctive.Bryan's interest in acting came from his lifelong love of movies. He would watch certain movies then perform particular scenes, sometimes on camera. Over the years he noticed many of the same actors appear in the movies he watched. This made him think you had to be special to be in movies. Since Bryan wasn't sure if he had what it takes, through the years he considered other potential endeavors. He has a talent for drawing so he thought of being an artist. He likes to write so he tried his hand at being an author. He is a fan of professional wrestling so he actually attempted to be an in-ring performer. He even trained for months but didn't have the proper build to take such hard bumps. He enjoys taking pictures so he has had interest in being a photographer. Whatever path Bryan took he knew he wanted to do something creative. Eventually all roads would lead him back to his first love... acting.Bryan had never taken an acting class or actively participated in a show until his third year at Monroe college. Which is where he earned a degree in Visual Comminucations. He was the Script Supervisor and Stage Manager for the musical Return To The Forbidden Planet. For which he and the rest of the cast and crew received the Kennedy Center Certificate of Merit. He pulled double duty for a student produced musical revue called Nowadays. He was the Director of Photography, and during the 'Good Morning Baltimore' piece of the 'Hairspray' portion he stepped on stage in the non-speaking role of 'The Flasher.' All he could be sort of visibly seen wearing is a tan trench coat before he opens it to the surprise of three unsuspecting young ladies. He was commented as only being on stage for a moment but getting one of the biggest reactions. Bryan revealed that all he was wearing under the coat were a white shirt, black tie, and novelty underwear with googly eyes and a Pinocchio nose. He did not tell the girls he "flashed" because he wanted a genuine reaction. The third and final show that Bryan was involved with was the Chambers Stevens play Bing Bang Boom. He worked behind-the-scenes, handling lights, initiating sound queues and performing the off stage role of the Officer.Several years later Bryan had the means to move from Rochester, NY to Los Angeles, CA. So he could actually pursue his dream of becoming an actor. He began by working as a background actor in movies, television, and commercials throughout the Los Angeles area. After working at it for a year or two, Bryan took a break from background acting to seek out speaking roles. While searching for potential projects he went on the website meetup.com and found a group called the West Hollywood Guerrilla Film Club. Intrigued, Bryan attended the meetup and as one of few actors among many writers, directors and producers he was quickly welcomed in and offered roles.Since then the group has grown significantly, and due to it's ever expanding network has been renamed the Hollywood Guerrilla Film Club. They have their own YouTube channel which continually increases in content and viewership.Bryan has worked as a featured actor in several productions. A Few Rubber Bands More (2015/Short), Chronicles (2015/TV Mini-Series), Not Ghostbusters: The 23 Directors' Cut (2015/Feature), Fear and Loathing in Ghost Vegas (2016/Short), Grape Expectations (2016/Short), and RxD (2016/TV Movie).Bryan has acted in several major motion pictures. Transcendence (2014/I), Million Dollar Arm (2014), The Wedding Ringer (2015), and Ted 2 (2015).He has worked in the television movies Android Cop (2014), Defending Santa (2013), and Jodi Arias: Dirty Little Secret (2013).His other television work can be seen in The Client List (2012), The Big Bang Theory (2007), Go On (2012), Hit The Floor (2013), Rake (2014), Criminal Minds (2005), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000), Glee (2009), Mixology (2013), 2 Broke Girls (2011), Shameless (2011), Revenge (2011), and Community (2009).He has also acted in some independent short films that had limited or no distribution. He portrayed 'Cory' in Catalyst (2014), 'Dad' in Harrison Family Christmas (2009), 'Patrick' in Put Your Balls Away (2009), and 'The Murderer' in Stranded (2008).Bryan wrote and directed two short films during the 2015 Christmas holiday.
