Being academically competitive and wanting to attain proficiency to become a successful professional actress, Brittany Elle began her college matriculation, attending Spelman College in the liberal arts division studying Theater. While an undergraduate, she continued to nurture the latent desire to express herself through the arts by performing with the Spel-House players acting troop. Nearing the end of her college days with thoughts of what her next move would be, Brittany Elle considered the natural progression of an actress and head to LA, but her fate was sealed as she was encouraged to remain in Atlanta and build a foundation by a renowned casting agent. Through the three years of the training and skill attainment that Spelman College theater department provided, Brittany Elle was able to visualize how she could effectively combine her talents, giftedness and intelligence to express herself through this powerfully expressive art form called acting. She gained a love for the stage and the drama greats like Tennessee Williams by performing in school productions such as "Glass Menagerie" as Laura and "The Bluest Eye" by Toni Morrison under the direction of NAACP Image Award winner, Jasmine Guy.Her first movie role came in the horror movie The Killing Seed (2011), where she played an estranged prostitute. Shortly after another substantial role came in the urban drama movie Hope (2012) where she played a butch gangster. Both films were produced by Wild Hundreds Productions and have been circulating local and national film festivals including The Bronze Lens Film Festival (2011), Atlanta Urban Mediamakers Film Festival (2012), Atlanta Horror Fest (2012), and Atlanta Shortsfest (2012) receiving great reviews from audiences and film critics.Loved, admired and supported by her family, friends, fellow actors and fans, in addition to possessing that natural beauty, intelligence and gifted talent Brittany Elle has the potential to sail over and above the ranks of other prominent stars. With limited yet growing roles or opportunities for African-Americans in general in film and women specifically, Brittany Elle is expected to break the barriers and forge her way into film history at an unprecedented and uninhibited style both before and behind the camera in the business.
