He has a degree in Construction Management and worked as a bricklayer before taking up acting. Still occasionally works construction.He studied acting at Gastown Actor's Studio.He enjoys rock climbing, skiing and cycling.He plays the drums and was in a kid wedding act with his brother and sister.
