Benny Benzino was born in Canton, Ohio on March 21st, of Sicilian and Cherokee Indian descent. Benny's passion for horror films surprisingly developed at an early age, not from watching scary movies as a child, but due to experiencing supernatural occurrences firsthand. The paranormal has been a significant part of Benny's life since he can remember. As a youth he began not only seeing apparitions and hearing disembodied voices, but also feeling their presence and emotions. It seemed that wherever he traveled, spirits would follow, whether it be Benny's spirit guides whom are with him at all times, or random phantoms that he would encounter while visiting haunted locations. These experiences are what fueled Benny's quest for gaining a greater knowledge of the spirit world and finding proof of an existence beyond the Earthly realm. Along his path, he hopes to open the skeptical human mind to the possibility of life after death, also helping restless souls move on to the next chapter in their eternal journey, breaking the chains of fear, enabling them to finally find peace in the afterlife. Ghost hunting finally became a serious interest for Benny in 2000 while he was living in Corpus Christi, Texas. This is where he joined his first paranormal investigation group. In November of 2004, Benny moved back home to Canton, Ohio and continued his interest in ghost hunting by joining a local team of paranormal investigators. Professional Wrestling was yet another love that Benny had developed at an early age, and in 2006 he decided to turn that dream into a reality by training to become a professional wrestler. Benny had no idea that his experience in the wrestling ring would become useful later down the road as an actor and stunt man in the film industry. In 2010, he became friends with actor Roger Conners, who helped convince Benny to take on a small role as Luke in the horror film "Chill", where Conners played the leading role of Kyle Carpenter. Now Benny could not only see how movies were made behind the scenes, but actually take part in helping the directors and crew make their ideas become a reality. Later on, Benny would land the role of villainous mob boss Sontino DeMarco in J. Michael Johnson's film "The Age Of Love". In 2013, Benny's experience in acting would take another step forward when he received a significant role in Jay Summers' Sci-Fi comedy "Revenge Of The Spacemen". Not only did Benny play the part of Eddie, but he also became involved behind the scenes as the film's stunt coordinator. In 2014, Benny would continue pursuing his love of film by taking on roles in the comedy "Quarter Bin" and the vampire film "Katherine". To date, Benny's favorite film role is the masked maniac known as Razorface in the horror film "Raw Focus", directed by Bobby Jones. The movie began filming in 2013, where Benny reunited with friend and co-star Roger Conners, who plays the lead role of Chatham in the film. With several other new projects in the works, Benny has watched his dream of making movies slowly become a reality. He especially enjoys playing the villain in films, and hopes that this role will stick with him in future projects. Show less «
