Son of Australian jazz pianist, Frank Cull and vocalist Mollie Carey, Arron left hometown Adelaide to study method at Sydney's Ensemble Theatre under American actor/director Hayes Gordon.His first professional role was in the original Australian production of the rock musical 'Hair'. He sang the solo, 'My Conviction' and Shakespeare's lyrics in 'What a Piece of Work is Man'. A year as resident actor with Brisbane's Twelfth Night Theatre followed, after which he left the profession to teach and study Hatha and Raj Yoga. He resumed theater studies in Denver Colorado at the Theatre Arts Conservatory and, as a friend of the tutor, sat in on drama classes at the University of Denver.On returning to Australia, his film debut was in the award winning short, 'Employing Strategy', (New York Film Festival, Bronze Award, 1983). Guest roles in various Australian television series' led to his critically acclaimed role as the American Haden Clarke in the true story of 'The Lancaster Miller Affair'(1990)(aka 'Victim of Passion' UK). Re-occurring roles in the popular Australian TV series' 'Neighbors' and 'Fire' were followed by two award winning theater roles in the 90s. (both title roles in the circus musical 'Barnum' and Pinter's 'The Lover').Arron wrote, directed and acted in the 35mm short, 'The Wake' and in 2011 completed an Arts Degree, majoring in Justice and Media. He has resumed his acting career, has a recurring role in ABC's legal drama 'Crownies' and resides in Sydney, Australia. Show less «
