Ari "AriFunny" Robinson is the Clean Queen of Comedy from Simpsonville, South Carolina! She's most famous for appearing on Food Network's Season 20 of Worst Cooks in America with Iron Chef Alex Guarnaschelli and Chef Ann Burrell. She is a wife to her childhood sweetheart, Austin, mom of 5 (4 boys and 1 girl), and former middle school teacher turned touring stand up comedian who is looking to take her comedy career to new heights as she embarks on a career in TV & film. She has been told all her life that she was funny and decided to finally start sharing her funny with the world. She's performed all up and down the east coast from New York to Florida winning comedy competitions and opening for a host of celebrity and veteran comedians as well as headlining shows herself.Ari was born and raised in Simpsonville, SC, and she grew up with 1 older sister, Dr. Talisha Ratliff, pharmD. She was raised by her dad, Alvin Payne, an Army veteran who proudly served his country for 20 years, and her mom, Sharon Payne, who went to work after her children went to school but later became a stay-at-home Nana to take care of her grandchildren once they were born. Ari has a bachelors degree in Mass Communications with a minor in Political Science from Lander University and a Masters degree from Clemson University in Middle Level English. Now, she juggles life between being a 24/7 wife and mom and all around entertainer from comedy, to TV appearances, to event hosting, and public speaking engagements.
