As a child I was fascinated with the special effects in the classic horror and sci-fi movies. I would study them to learn how they were done, and was impressed by what those people were able to achieve; often with scant resources. I admired the gumption of creative people doing more with less. Having been raised in a family where my father helped start the local community theater, I grew up around theater, and that theater group did a LOT of Shakespeare. Shakespeare was a big part of my early life. I also participated in theater through high school and college.I started acting in my area, and I started writing. The plays I wrote have been staged. I continued to learn...and the more I learned, the more I wanted to create. Now I act in commercials, television and film, and write for both the stage (two of my plays have been staged) and the screen (two of the screen plays I co-wrote have been shot, and are in post production). Now I started my own production company, Academy Hill Films LLC, and I am in the pre-production stages of producing my original screenplay, "The Beast of Buchanan - A Legend in Blood".
