Boston Native, Anthony DiBlasi attended film school at Emerson College. Upon moving to Los Angeles he became a protégé of filmmaker/novelist/artist extraordinaire Clive Barker. DiBlasi partnered in the production company Midnight Picture Show, for nearly ten years, serving as a key executive & producer on films such as "Midnight Meat Train" (2008) and "Book of Blood" (2009) - while also honing his writing and directing skills. DiBlasi made his directorial debut with the psychological thriller "Dread" (2009), a feature film he wrote based on the Clive Barker short story of the same name. "Dread" was released theatrically in January of 2010 and went on to win Best Independent Feature at the 2010 Spike Scream Awards, among other honors.Following his directorial debut success - Diblasi teamed up w/PoileyWood Entertainment to direct the supernatural thriller "Cassadaga" (2011), releasing theatrically to good reviews. Immediately following, DiBlasi teamed up again w/Scott Poiley under his Skyler Entertainment Banner with "Missionary" (2013) a dramatic thriller. The film opened theatrically to impressive reviews. Following, Diblasi teamed up w/ Poiley two more times for "Last Shift" (2014) (critically acclaimed thriller/horror feature picked up by Magnolia Pictures) & "Exhume" (2017) a suspense thriller feature.Diblasi expanded into comedy in with the critically well-received "The Test" (2013) teaming him with Patrick Fischler (Mad Men, Lost, Silicon Valley Coen Brothers Hail, Caesar! & True Blood's Lauren Bowles) which went on to win top honors at Sun Valley Film Festival "Best Short" presented by Jodie Foster. He then dived into TV with a modern version of the classic re-imagined romantic drama "Wuthering Heights," (2015) and then back to film w/classic horror "Most Likely To Die" (2015) starring Glee's Heather Morris. His latest feature film is an Alfred Hitchcock style drama & suspense thriller, "Her Last Will" (2016).
