As an unemployed college dropout, Anthony frequently played basketball at the Hollywood YMCA with friends and mentors such as Denzel Washington, Arsenio Hall, Jerome Benton, Dorian Haywood, Ron Shelton, Wesley Snipes, Cylk Cozart and so on. Hall's wiry athleticism caught the eye of a commercial casting director while she was on location scouting for a project. From then on, Hall averaged 12 plus commercials with companies such as Nike, Reebok, Gatorade and Fila. In addition, Hall completed a 4-year campaign for Dr. Pepper with friend and Director, Michael Bay.Hall expanded his talent by guest starring in TV roles on shows such as Moesha, Baywatch, LA Law, and NYPD Blue among many others. He eventually landed one of the starring roles on the USA Network show Claude's Crib for a full season until its cancellation. Hall was cast in his first film, Blue Chips, starring Nick Nolte. The critics called Hall's performance an amazing and versatile piece of work opposite leading man Nick Nolte. Hall continued to have success as his career blossomed with countless films.Hall took a break from performing in front of the camera to concentrate on writing films, which is now his next journey in the entertainment industry. The writing bug hit Hall when he started creating with his best friend and NBA All-Star, Shaquille R. O'Neal. Hall came up with an idea to remake an old popular show The White Shadow. Shaquille loved the idea and Hall put the wheels in motion. Hall and friend, Annice Parker, pitched this idea around Hollywood and it landed at CBS. This was the start of a new career that Hall could really sink his teeth in.The film Q is inspired by true events that took place during Hall's youth while growing up on the gritty streets of Chicago's South side.
