Alaina Warren Zachary has over 45 years of performance under her belt. She earned a BFA from Boston University as an acting major and went on to appear in three major Broadway original cast musicals: Grease, Nine, and Baby. She is on the Nine and Baby albums. With roots in improvisational theatre, Alaina was a member of the famed Cambridge-based troupe The Proposition created by Jeremy Leven which later opened off-Broadway. Alaina performed hundreds of TV and radio commercials including voice overs for Tampax, Maxwell House and more. Alaina has over 100 acting credits. Crossing over into a classical singing genre in her post-Broadway career, she won a grant and recorded a CD of the never recorded songs of French composer Cecile Chaminade in 2001. "Mon Coeur Chante!" She continued studies at the Mannes College of Music in Manhattan. Alaina sang with Saratoga Opera and was a founding member of the Hudson Opera Theatre. She lived in the Hudson Valley in New York State until relocating to Santa Fe in 2008. She is active as an actress, writer, and producer. Her first film role was a work-out buddy with 5 lines, later cut, from 20th Century Fox's major motion picture, Without a Trace. Show less «
