Aimee Miles (Barile) was born in Redwood City, California. She first appeared on stage at the age of eight in a production of the musical Oliver! She holds a BA in Theatre and Latin American Studies from Wesleyan University in Connecticut, where she appeared regularly in theatrical and musical performances, films, concerts. Her inspirational semester abroad in Santiago, Chile solidified her Spanish fluency, and led her to write a senior thesis on Latin American theater under military dictatorships. She also volunteered for several years at the renowned Connecticut children's theater, Oddfellows Playhouse, where she worked with at-risk high school students. Aimee is now an accomplished singing actor, with strong roots in classical music and musical theater, and has performed worldwide on stages and screens large and small. She recently had her directorial debut at Brava Theater Center in San Francisco, where she produced and directed Birth, a Vagina Monologues style play by Karen Brody. Aimee is a lover of languages, has trekked solo around the world, and plans to someday live abroad with her family. Show less «
