Adrianne Ellis, born in Canada, was raised in California, where she grew up. She attended Van Nuys High School, where she was president of her honor Drama Society, and then when on to U.C.L.A, where she distinguished herself in the theater and acted in the first student film directed by then fellow student Francis Ford Coppola.After two years Adrianne left U.C.L.A to make a living in television but will be remembered for her many classical stage roles'such as Nora in the Doll's House, and Desdemona opposite the great William Marshall's Othello. She caught the eye of film director Michael Anderson when she starred in the U.C.L.A. theatrical production of The Cocktail Party and fifteen years later they were to meet again and married.Anderson became an internationally acclaimed director. Oscar-nominated and Golden Globe winner for directing the epic film Around The World in 80 Days. Anderson has a long list of other popular award winning films such as Dam Busters, Quiller Memorandum, All The Fine Young Cannibals, Shoes Of The Fisherman, Conduct Unbecoming, Martian Chronicles, Sword of Gideon, science fiction classic Logan's Run and more. Anderson passed away April 25, 2018 with Adrianne by his side.Adrianne has produced a theatrical version of The Servant starring Eric Mc Cormick, and Keir Dullea, at the former Bayview Playhouse in Toronto, and Co-Produced, Rugged Gold a family movie directed by Michael Anderson.Adrianne is the biological mother of two grown children.
