Abbey McBride was born and raised in Illinois where she spent the majority of her childhood on stage in local theater productions. After studying theater in Chicago she moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting full time. She is now a comedy actress and writer best known for her role on VH1's Barely Famous where she also contributed as a writer. She is also known for her various voice over roles, most notably as the voice of Ling Ling in Comedy Central's Drawn Together.
