Critic Reviews of "Titan AE"
Village VoiceJanuary 01, 2000This feature-length sci-fi cartoon is suggestive of nothing so much as Saturday-morning TV.
USA TodayJanuary 01, 2000Titan targets teens, but misses mark.
Entertainment WeeklyJanuary 01, 2000Star Wars pulped and mashed into flavorless kiddie corn.
Washington PostJanuary 01, 2000A long-winded story, uninspired characters and lackluster off-screen performances.
Orlando SentinelJanuary 01, 2000It's like watching other people play video games.
Antagony & EcstasyDecember 04, 2016Despite individual moments that are extraordinarily rich in space opera bravado, the film as a whole is simply too stiff and awkward.
Cinema CrazedSeptember 07, 2012It's too great of a fluid, exciting animation epic to be forgotten or lambasted.
Common Sense MediaJanuary 02, 2011A so-so animated feature aimed at an older crowd.
TheMovieReport.comOctober 14, 2007In featuring likable and intelligent characters as well as some interesting plot turns, the script more than adequately does its job as a support beam for the visuals.
Looking CloserJanuary 15, 2005... flat characters, flat animation, a bland rock soundtrack ... Titan A.E. might as well be Titanic A.E. (as in, the ship that sunk, not the movie that scored.)
