Zas AnonymousWhat was Sam thinking this was a really odd part for him and definitely not his best movie.2019-04-06 23:04Aneurysmous AnonymousThe movie is well made, but quite pretentious. It's an action movie masquerading as a romantic fantasy war drama. The subject matter just doesn't lend itself to this style of film making, and I feel it tries to take it too seriously. Last, certain elements just completely detract from the suspension of disbelief. I mean the title is comedic in nature, but the movie is nowhere near being a comedy.2019-02-28 05:02Keywords: -

Critic Reviews of "The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then The Bigfoot"
Chicago Sun-TimesFebruary 13, 2019[A] strange and original and at times surprisingly lovely bit of folklore...
Detroit NewsFebruary 08, 2019[I]t's not near as much fun as the title might imply. In fact, you get the feeling the title was slapped on the movie after someone realized how thoroughly awful it was.
RogerEbert.comFebruary 08, 2019I suppose there are some who will get off on this movie's competence and uber-sincerity, but I found the premise one or two bridges too far. Sam Elliott junkies, too, are sure to be delighted.
NPRFebruary 07, 2019The Man Who Killed Bigfoot and Then Hitler is a real movie - one more emotionally resonant and character-driven than that deceptively goony title suggests.
Los Angeles TimesFebruary 07, 2019It's the strangest feeling to watch a movie comprising so many worthy elements but missing the glue that unifies it.
Film ThreatFebruary 25, 2019Aside from the legitimacy that Elliott lends to the movie, there's also something inarguably amusing in watching him play his part so straight.
New England Movies WeeklyFebruary 22, 2019If you're able to buy into the admittedly odd premise, this is a movie that defies expectations.
Houston PressFebruary 15, 2019If audiences can get past their initial disappointment that the movie isn't all Hitler and Bigfoot murder, they may be able to enjoy his movie on its own terms.
UproxxFebruary 13, 2019At the very least, you're walking away with an exemplary Sam Elliott performance.
Punch Drunk CriticsFebruary 13, 2019The Man Who Killed Hitler And Then The Bigfoot is not the movie you're expecting.
