TrailerThe movie centers the mass escape from Stalag Luft III in Sagan (now Żagań, Poland), in the province of Lower Silesia, Nazi Germany. The first half of the film is played for comedy as the prisoners mostly outwit their jailers to dig the escape tunnel.
