Critic Reviews of "The Chase"
Suite101.comMarch 28, 2014What seems crudely jerry-rigged to be nothing more than a mindless car crash-up is instead an intelligent, incisive carving-up of media insanity and idiocy. Plus, throughout the movie, Charlie Sheen showcases stealthy comic chops.
Not Coming to a Theater Near YouOctober 25, 2011There's a fine line between the campy elements and those that are done more earnestly, but it's toed successfully.
DVDTalk.comSeptember 19, 2005There's just enough slicks and smarts in this movie to make you wish the rest of it weren't so darn stupid.
About.comMay 23, 2004Rousing action adventure with brilliant media humor
New TimesMay 19, 2004Goofball fun, and Swanson's rarely been hotter.
MovieholeSeptember 18, 2002Unfortunately we're not in the business of thumbing up films with a couple of gags
