filmBuff Anonymouswhat a piece of scheisse (google translate it) im glad they didnt do a shot for shot remake of the original Suspiria, but from what i just watched i wish they did!!! adding random cuts of random bizarre and putrid things does not make it artsy, this film was way too long by an hour and a half too long, this film has little to offer and will bore you, they try and make up for it with random spasms and the bizarre form of dance, but to no effect, i was watching the time counter throughout, pass... go watch the original its got more talent and style than this forgettable scheisse2019-03-10 00:03critical_thinker Anonymousone of the worst movies ever. Sometimes I'm wondering why all this things of promoting witchcraft and summing satanism. also there is no relation between the old movie suspiria & this one. promoting satanism among those young children to shape society. I feel sad for the new generations2019-01-16 11:01Claudesio Anonymousone of the best, stylish, sleek, well palyed and most interesting movie ever!2018-12-04 22:12Keywords: -

Critic Reviews of "Suspiria (2018)"
Chicago Sun-TimesNovember 02, 2018Ambitious, grandiose, occasionally compelling but far more often irritating and laughable.
San Diego ReaderNovember 02, 2018The Argento is a marvel of style-as-subject; Guadagnino subjects audiences to second-hand shocks.
Globe and MailNovember 02, 2018The filmmakers' insatiable curiosity and grandiose sense of spectacle keeps Suspiria from becoming half as annoying as it should be.
Chicago ReaderNovember 01, 2018Guadagnino is so intent on fulfilling his vision he doesn't seem to have room for any perspective besides his own, leaving the women in his narrative underserved in spite of his incredibly skilled efforts.
Toronto StarNovember 01, 2018"It's a mess, isn't it?" Susie says at one point, and she's certainly got that right.
Another GazeDecember 17, 2018It is an argument that confuses stylishness with subtext and empty signifiers with intellectual heft.
Q Network Film DeskDecember 15, 2018packs the narrative with an overt political history that never really coheres with the dramatic narrative and its distinctly feminine horrors
Alachia QueenDecember 14, 2018I was promised a thrilling horror about a coven of witches but ended up with what seemed like a thesis on German culture in the late 1970s.
CinematismoDecember 12, 2018A dance about the obscure in the human being. An introspection to our psyche. A domination that has excerciced the power on the woman's body in the past and in the present. [Full review in Spanish]
The SkinnyDecember 12, 2018Languorous and muted, with muddled plot lines and a very open approach to the coven of horror that the original film kept a little more secretive.
Mark Leeper's ReviewsDecember 10, 2018Some sequences offer beautiful art while others are ponderous and slow
