Not Another Happy Ending

This Scottish romcom is a great advert for Glasgow, but it delivers an awful warning to filmmakers about shooting a script that's seriously unready.

Ultimately worth seeing thanks to a charming lead performance from Karen Gillan, strong comic support from Iain De Caestecker and a handful of decent gags.

It may not have the bite of a Bridesmaids, but in Gillan's sparky performance there's enough to keep you engaged for the duration.

McKay's film often feels like Richard Curtis-lite for the New Girl generation - minus the jokes and memorable characters.
