Charles AnonymousNow I know what happened to mars, celvin drank all the water.............!!!!2020-04-24 15:04ZmanX0 AnonymousHow stupid could supposed smart people be? They did EVERYTHING wrong. They broke just about every rule of keeping quarantine there is. They contain an unknown lifeform with nothing but rubber gloves as the sole barrier for it breaking out. It should have been sealed in a air tight chamber with only mechanical or robotic arms to interact or minister to it and only operated from a separate secure room. The lab itself isn't secure with multiple exit points by way of vents. The container and the lab itself should have had the capability to evacuate it's contents into space as a precaution and a fail safe termination protocol for the organism. Why didn't they just all put on EVA suits and flush the air when it was loose in the main cabin? Also it's obvious that the creature was made up of mostly fluid/water so why didn't it freeze in the vacuum of space where even gas freezes into a solid?2018-12-08 03:12Firenovix #1 Movies Online userSoooo I can see this alien being added to a Godzilla movie, after it sucks that Ocean dry it'll be ginormous and can wrap itself around Godzilla himself and squash him into pulp.2018-10-28 08:10Movie AnonymousOMG that ending. Critic Reviews of "Life (2017)"
Richard Brody New YorkerMarch 27, 2017The movie reduces its fear factor to simple suspense that's not insignificant but is pretty insubstantial.
James Berardinelli ReelViewsMarch 25, 2017Those who have seen Alien will have a pretty good idea what's coming, at least to a point. Once things reach that point, however, all bets are off.
Matthew Lickona San Diego ReaderMarch 24, 2017Here is a story that knows how to put the nihilism in the vast nothingness of space. If you're into that sort of thing.
Michael O'Sullivan Washington PostMarch 24, 2017Life has cool effects, real suspense and a sweet twist. It ain't rocket science, but it does what it does well -- even, one might say, with a kind of genius.
Emily Yoshida New York Magazine/VultureMarch 24, 2017It's Alien for short attention spans, Arrival for non-pacifists, with some remnant of ambition toward something headier. On that count, it falls short, but as a final-girl structured horror film, it has plenty of imaginative moments.
Brian Lowry CNN.comMarch 24, 2017Life... a taut, suspenseful thriller that's more enjoyable the less you think about it.
Tara Brady Irish TimesApril 26, 2017The recycled plot is very much at odds with Seamus McGarvey's knockout floating cinematography, Nigel Phelps' multi-dimensional space station designs, and (Safe House) director Daniel Espinosa's aptitude for white-knuckle runarounds.
Kevin A. Ranson MovieCrypt.comApril 24, 2017Remember how you felt at the end of that 2001 Tim Burton remake of Planet of the Apes starring Mark Wahlberg? Who thought this was a great way to waste these actors and an entire budget?
David Nusair Reel Film ReviewsApril 20, 2017An unexpectedly (and impressively) grim little thriller...
Pilar Ayuso El Nuevo Herald (Miami)April 20, 2017A film where science fiction becomes a nightmare, a mixture of horror and suspense. [Full review in Spanish]
Nathaniel Rogers Film ExperienceApril 14, 2017It's handsomely mounted but not satisfying enough to stick.
Carlos Díaz Reyes Vanguardia (Mexico)April 12, 2017If it had less budget, it would be a very funny horror movie, but it feels more like a flat product, close to being boring. [Full review in Spanish]
