A Murder in the Park
TrailerIn 1999, just hours before his scheduled execution, convicted killer Anthony Porter's life was saved by a journalism class from Northwestern University, led by renowned Innocence Project pioneer, Professor David Protess. Their re-investigation of the crime for which he was convicted-a double homicide in a Chicago park-led to the discovery of the real killer, Alstory Simon, whose confession exonerated Porter. If it all sounds too good to be true, it's because, as compellingly argued here, Porter actually is guilty, Simon is an innocent man and both are just pawns in a much larger plan.Actors: Dexter Hammett, Joseph Alex, Jason Patrick, Denny Castiglione, Kevin Adelstein, Aswan Harris, Sabrina McPherson, Derick Mayes, Tamicka Scruggs, Tony Murphy, Christina Shaffer, ...»Director: Christopher S. njdolfan #1 Movies Online userThis PI, Paul Ciolino, is the same guy used in the TV show called COLD JUSTICE that came under fire due to the scruples used by him and the former Texas prosecutor. Granted PI's aren't cops and don't have to follow the law as the cops do but come on for what this man did to an innocent person, he should be held accountable for what was done!2019-02-25 16:02Keywords: -

Epoch TimesMay 22, 2016A staggering and infuriating expose of advocacy journalism run amok.
Seattle WeeklyJuly 16, 2015Amid such murky, conflicting motives, Hale's Murder in the Park tries to draw a bright line of rectitude where any fair-minded filmmaker -- Errol Morris comes to mind -- would recognize that's an impossible task.
Under the RadarJuly 08, 2015A Murder in the Park more than convincingly presents what appears to be a gross corruption of justice, but its dry play-by-play is about as compelling as a Wikipedia article.
Paste MagazineJune 26, 2015Rech and Kimber deserve great credit for crafting a searing courtroom presentation with impressive, convincing power, but their procedural coldness leaves the real victim of this travesty off on the sidelines.
