Zoe Matthews

The daughter of Manchester musician Brian Matthews, Zoe was born and raised in Bramhall, Stockport. Zoe is the youngest of three, with both older siblings becoming professional musicians. Her mother remarried when Zoe was five and her stepfather's two sons also came to live in the family home.Due to hearing problems throughout her youth Zoe preferred acting to playing an instrument and trained at Salford University in Performing Arts.After leaving Salford Zoe worked in a number of jobs from Security Profiling, to shop assistant until finally settling in a Media Advertising career for some of the leading media companies in the UK and Australia. She did not pursue a professional career in Acting until the age of 35yrs.Married to a Research Scientist in 2007, with one son. Zoe still uses her maiden name of Matthews as her stage name.
