Wei-Yi Lin

Taiwanese. born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan.Went to National Taiwan University for her BA degree, Wei-Yi fell in love with drama, theatre and acting. She then worked in Taiwan for two years in professional theatre productions. After realizing that her training wasn't enough for her ambition, she decided to go to USA pursuing her MFA in acting field.Three years in New York City and intense Theatre Acting Training, Wei-Yi couldn't help but falll in love with this big apple and American Culture, she decided to stay and going after her dream.Couple years later, Wei-Yi has been seen in Sundance Directors Lab as Yang Meng (2015), nominated for Best Actress in a Theatre Festival in Downtown NYC (2015); WON Best Acting in Short Films in Asian Film Festival in Dallas (2015); gained both union status and has two off-Broadway contracts in hand--- she's honored to be a part of this change of era, a diverse mixed new entertainment world.
