He has directed and acted in over 80 theatre productions, including Homecoming by Pinter, Endgame by Beckett, Exit the King by Ionesca, In Camera by Sartre, and Lolita by Nabokov.He has also appeared in a number of films: The Jackal (Doctor), The Knock (Russian Captain), Man Who Cried (Man at the port), Russian Albion (Russian Mafia Boss), and Topsy Turvy (Rubinstain).His voice-over work includes feature films such as The World Is Not Enough, The Beautician & The Beast, Sophie's World, and Enemy at the Gates.
