Vere Tindale

Vere is a New Zealander/South African born on May 30th, 1986 in Johannesburg, South Africa. He is of Norwegian, French, Scottish and English descent.Vere moved to Wellington, New Zealand after high school. There he worked as a stand up comedian and began writing and performing original plays in small theaters between studies for a commerce degree at Victoria University of Wellington.Upon completion of his degree he auditioned to study at The Neighbourhood Playhouse in New York City and was accepted into their two year conservatory program, (eventually being awarded a partial scholarship for his second year of study). He graduated from The Playhouse in 2013.Recent works include; playing the role of Mayflower Pilgrim John Howland in the Sony Pictures Miniseries Saints & Strangers (2015) with Anna Camp, Vincent Kartheiser and Ron Livingston; Harry Burton in the ITV miniseries Tutankhamun (2016) with Max Irons and Sam Neill;and the lead role of Jacob in the South African feature film Sonskyn Beperk (2016).
