Vanessa Elliott

Vanessa Elliott is a Filipino-American filmmaker born in Camarillo, California. Inspired by the magic of the movies, Vanessa pursued an acting career at the age of 9. Over the next ten years she appeared in live theater, live action TV shows, animated TV shows, commercials, shorts, and features films. During middle school and high school Vanessa learned how to shoot and edit videos for school and directed her first original short films. Upon graduating from high school she pursued an education in film at the University of California, Berkeley where she earned a B.A. in Film and Media and continued directing films.
