Travis grew up around the world as his father was a government employee working with the military. The majority of his formative years were spent in (then) West Germany and the Netherlands where he attended international and Department of Defense schools. However, he was able to finish his high school experience in Sacramento, California where he found his love of acting. Travis was awarded a full ride scholarship from the Frank H. Buck Scholarship to attend any University of his choice. He briefly attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, but decided to pursue his full degree at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York University where he was a part of the Experimental Theater Wing. He studied and performed with the international theater festival in Amsterdam and attended additional training in Iceland during his time at NYU. He subsequently returned to California to earn his Secondary Teaching Credential and teach in the public school system. He also worked in local theater productions and created a theater company. But despite being an award winning teacher, Travis decided he wanted to make a professional career of acting full time and attended The American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco to complete his training. Upon graduation from A.C.T., he immediately booked a big commercial campaign which allowed him to relocate back to New York City and sign with Abrams Artist Agency. Travis continued booking commercials, which allowed him to pursue roles in independent films and off Broadway theater. He was also the Co-Host of Nick Jr.'s "Playalong" from 2004-2005 playing to lovable character "Zach". Despite his love of living in New York, he realized that the majority of Film and TV production work was happening in Los Angeles and it was time to relocate. Travis has found his niche as a character actor in comedy known for his improv and physical comedy, but has also had an plenty of opportunities to portray unsavory law enforcement officers. You can find him performing long form improv in theaters throughout Los Angeles when he is not spending time with his wife and two children. He still continues to teach mask, clown, and improv to kids in Los Angeles, which he finds immensely rewarding. But above all, he loves to make silly YouTube Videos with his kids. Show less «
