Thompson Pattern Ludwig was born in July 14, 1977 in Paris. Son of French singer Eloise Dunchon Pattern and architect Anthony, born in Boston this. Has a sister four years older, Catherine. In 1990, his mother suffers a car accident and passes away, making Tom and his family move to New York. He learned to play piano at age 7 to 12 and asked a battery birthday. With nine years has attended a theater school in New York, where he stayed until age 15. Comes back to Paris after completing the classes dramatic. During this time also showed great interest in food, making three years of courses in this area. At 18 he goes to Harvard, where he graduated in Art History in 1999. At that time, appeared in several commercials such as Subway (which ends up being extremely well known for this) and some for Starbucks.
