Todd Anthony was the first born of four children of Jacqueline Myles (clothing designer) and the only child of Todd A. Dunbar Sr (pastor of Praise, Power & Deliverance Church). Anthony is both African American who was born and raised in the west side of Philadelphia, often referred to as "West Philly". Todd attended Overbrook High School which is located in the Overbrook section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In high school, he was often compared to another Overbrook alumni "Will Smith" by some of his teachers and peers because of his silly but yet charming attitude.Basketball was Todd's first love, which he pursued up to the collegiate level when he attended and graduated from Pennsylvania State University. While in college, he was often told that he should take some acting courses because of his ability at improv, impersonating and making others laugh. Todd did take a few theatre and film study courses, along with participating in his first stage play "Whose Side Are You On" which sparked the interest in acting.In 2008, Todd realized that he needed to take his natural talent and work hard at making it a career. In late 2008, Anthony dove right in and started taking classes and getting involved in independent projects. He continues to work hard at his craft and had the privilege of working with Vivica A. Fox (Lord All Men Can't Be Dogs) as a result. One of the highlights of his career was meeting Will Smith on the set of "Men In Black 3", whom he credits to being one of his mentors from a far.
