Tiffany Denise Hobbs was born in Augusta, Georgia on July 17, 1987. She began dancing at Carol Colson Ballet School at the age of three and, ever since, performance art has been a major part of her life. At ten years old, she was accepted into the selective John S. Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School. It was there that she also began experimenting with the arts of theatre and music. For eight years, Tiffany dabbled in dance, drama and music at school and in the Augusta community (The Augusta Ballet School, The Cutno Dance School, Creative Impressions), performing in a variety of shows and accomplishing significant recognition at various fine arts competitions in the southeast United States by the time of her graduation in 2005.Tiffany went on to study theatre at The University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. She appeared in many shows with the Department of Theatre and Film Studies at UGA, as well as the Department of Intercultural Affairs at UGA. She diversified her experiences by becoming active in campus organizations such as Alpha Psi Omega, a national theatre honor fraternity, where she served as president for a year. She also volunteered for AIDS Athens in her spare time. Tiffany spent the summer of 2007 as a vocal soloist and dancer at Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, Ohio. During the summer of 2008, Tiffany was one of a select few students chosen to study theatre at the Yale School of Drama. In both 2008 and 2009, she placed 2nd runner-up and was talent winner in the Miss University of Georgia pageant. In 2008, she also became Miss Black and Gold at UGA and moved on to become Miss Black and Gold Georgia and placed 1st runner-up at Miss Black and Gold Southeast in 2009. In May 2009, Tiffany graduated from the University of Georgia with two degrees, one in theatre and one in public relations.Tiffany was accepted as one of eight to attend Southern Methodist University's prestigious three-year M.F.A. acting program on full scholarship beginning in fall 2009. While there, she appeared in many university shows and productions at the Dallas Theater Center, while also taking classes at the School of Contemporary Ballet Dallas and volunteering at Highland Park United Methodist Church. She was crowned Miss Hunt County in 2010 and went on the place 6th at the Miss Texas Scholarship Pageant, a preliminary to Miss America. Tiffany also spent the summer of 2011 performing in repertory at the Summer Repertory Theatre in Santa Rosa, California.In 2012, she was invited to join the Brierley Resident Acting Company at the Dallas Theater Center, where she performed in a number of shows and taught through their education programs. Tiffany has also performed at WaterTower Theater and Shakespeare Dallas in Texas, as well as Kenny Leon's True Colors Theater in Atlanta, Georgia. Show less «
