Thomas Hatchman was born in Melbourne, Australia. As a passionate actor and filmmaker he begun attending acting classes when he was 10 years old and has continued develop his craft since then. In late 2014 after a trip to Los Angeles with the Australian Institute of Performing Arts (AIPA), Thomas returned home to an audition that led to his first major role in the Australian feature film Holding the Man (2015) Directed by Neil Armfield where he played Biscuit, alongside Ryan Corr, Craig Stott & Sarah Snook.
