Theresa Godly

Theresa began acting when she was 5 years old at her local stage school, this led onto studying and training at the famous Sylvia Young Theatre School in London. She continued studying drama and this led to her first class honours degree in Acting from Guildford School of Acting which were hugely formative years for her. Theresa is ethnically ambiguous and has played various races, but she is actually of Indian parentage & was born in Kolkata, India. After being given up for adoption to Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charities Theresa came to England aged 9 months old and began a very different life to the one she may have had if she had survived in India. Her journey back to find her birth family was a BBC Documentary which aired in August 2018; "Searching For Mum", Produced by Raw TV. Theresa is also trained in long-form comedy improv and screen combat. Although she is British, her General American accent is on point, something she feels is important for an actor keen to work in the U.S. Show less «
