Terry Everett Brown has been acting since his starring turn as "Hansel" in his second-grade production of "Hansel and Gretel." He continued to enjoy the stage throughout elementary school, high school and college, taking acting classes and performing numerous plays and musicals at Pomfret School in Connecticut and Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Terry studied Meisner technique with Lee Cohn at NYU and performed improv at the Chicago City Limits Theatre in Midtown Manhattan. He also trained with Al Guarino at AIA Actors' Studio and at the Groundlings Theatre and studied Stanislavski/Meisner and camera technique with Jolene Adams at Actors Art Theatre in Hollywood.Terry recently played the role of "the prospector" in the Steven Spielberg miniseries Into The West for Dreamworks Television and TNT. He also played opposite James Caan and Josh Duhamel in NBC's prime-time hit, LAS VEGAS. Terry's film credits include: Stanley's Gig, starring Faye Dunaway, In The Weeds (in NYC) with Molly Ringwald and Skeleton Woman with Serena Scott Thomas and Daphne Rubin-Vega (Broadway's "Rent"). He recently shot a supporting role in Christopher Coppola's film Confidential Report in Los Angeles, and a supporting role in Straitjacket, directed by award-winning director, Nathan Hall, in Denver, Colorado. Terry is featured on Spike TV's "Lesser Of Two Evils", BBC Television's "Young In America" and in Harbinger Production's comedy film, Chicken Party, starring Allison Janney ("The West Wing").Terry co-wrote and starred in his one-man show, "Resignation: My Journey Though the Corporate World and How I Escaped" for 18 months at Actors Art Theatre in Los Angeles (on LA Weekly's Recommended List). He has recently adapted the play, which chronicles his hilarious, true-life journey from the halls of The White House to the towers of Wall Street,into a screenplay. Terry is a working member of the ensemble at Actors Art Theatre where he has performed numerous plays as well as his own material in the Backstage West Critic's Pick "Writing Out Loud".Terry is a nationally published contract writer for Time Warner Publications and is a contributing author of the upcoming non-fiction book "True Calling" (Penguin Books).Terry also produces corporate events and manages press coverage for corporate and political clients including: IBM, Pfizer, CBS, Time Warner, The U.S. Olympic Committee, and The White House Press Office.
