Ever since she first stepped on the stage at the tender age of 8, Teesha Renee fell in love with Theater and acting in general. Born in Rockford, IL and raised in Atlanta, GA this young girl caught the performance bug, and never looked back. From there, Teesha Renee continued to perform in theater. She soon was awarded Miss Drama Club after her leading performance as Mrs. Stevenson in Sorry, Wrong Number. Also, she was a member of the video production club all through high school as well where she directed, produced, edited and starred in her very first short film entitled Red Silence. The film went on to win 1st place in the technology fair, and the school awarded her best actress and best movie of the year. Teesha Renee is an artist in its truest sense. Along with performing, she is a talented painter, sketch artist and sculptor. Teesha attended Georgia State University and while pursuing her degree in studio art, the craft of acting was constantly calling her name. She began taking classes at The Alliance Theater where she has been trained in film, scene study, acting process and script analysis. Inspired to step back on stage once again, she then entered her very first pageant and won! Teesha Renee was crowned Miss Georgia State University 2015 and was granted the opportunity to compete in the Miss Georgia Pageant with Miss America 2015, what an honor! She graduated in May 2017 with her Bachelors of Art. Immediately after graduation, Teesha set out her intention to be dedicated to acting full time. She then began studying with Nick Conti at the Professional Actor's studio where she is trained in auditioning, cold reads, scene study and improvisation. She began to get involved in the Atlanta indie scene with films, pilots and web based projects such as My Sweet Next Day, Cooking Up A Storm, Diva Interrupted, Power Corrupts, Discovering Brooklynn and Help just to name a few. She has also guest starred on a few TV shows such as Fatal Attraction, Homicide Hunters and Atlanta Homicide. Teesha is represented by Reel Sisters Talent Management where she plans to do it all including films, television, web series, commercials, print work, and of course her first love, theater. She dreams of working with Tyler Perry, Will Packer, Shonda Rhimes, and Ava DuVerney just to name a few favorites. This is only the beginning for Teesha Renee, and the sky isn't even her limit.
