Grew up in Huntington Beach, California. Attended Marina High School where he set many school records in basketball before graduating in 1988. Was all Sunset league all 4 years in High School, and all CIF his junior and senior seasons. Went to Pepperdine University after turning down opportunities at perennial powers such as Kansas. In college, was to Sacramento Kings star Doug Christie, as Pippen was to Jordan with the Bulls. Playing skills plus all American good looks got him a bit role in Blue Chips as part of a struggling program prior to rebuilding. Went on to a decent pro career in Europe. Show less «
