Born Oct 1955 in Providence RI. Spent most of his formative years in Ludlow MA. His mother was a homemaker and his father was an educator whose career spanned the breadth of academia from grade school teacher to principal, professor and dean of a local college. Stephen joined the Navy in 1975 after two years of higher education at Westfield State College. His appearances in both films was just a matter of being in the right place at the right time during his 20 year career with the United States Navy while stationed aboard the USS Nimitz (Final Countdown) and the USS John F Kennedy (Super Carrier). After retiring from the Navy, in 1995, he chose not to pursue a career in acting and entered the tech field in telecom. Show less «
