Stefanie Butler

Stefanie Butler is a film and television actress born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Stefanie graduated from Pepperdine University in 2006, with a theater degree and began her film and television career shortly after graduating. Her film debut was opposite Armie Hammer (The Lone Ranger) in the Billy Graham biopic, Billy:The Early Years, starring as Ruth Graham.Stefanie's most recent work includes independent films I Remember You, Car Dogs, Followed, and Zula the Infinite. She has guest starred on CSI:NY, Shark, Rizzoli & Isles and Frank Darabont's Mob City. Her commercial work includes national campaigns for companies such as Burger King, Jeep, Nutella, Pizza Hut and Toyota. In 2015, Stefanie was thrilled to join the cast of the much anticipated (and now iconic) Netflix series, Stranger Things, as Cynthia, the bubble gum chewing ball-buster girlfriend of Lonnie, played by Ross Partridge.Stefanie can next be seen in the upcoming pilot, Nisei and the independent film, Jonas - both period pieces, which is Stefanie's favorite genre. In addition to acting, Butler has been writing and creating her own content. She has written a number of short films, three features, and two pilots and is publishing a children's book, "The Adventures of Tabby Abby" due out later this year. Stefanie completed her first full-length screenplay in 2014, The Silent Queen. It is a historical fiction depicting an Irish queen, kidnapped by Vikings and forced into a seemingly impossible decision. It is loosely based on actual events from her Icelandic heritage. Show less «
