Bollywood playback singer best known for the songs "Subhaanallah" from Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, "Balma" from Khiladi 786 and many other hit tracks. He has sung over 150 songs in nine languages (Hindi, Telugu, Bengali, Tamil, Kannada, Gujarati, Marathi, Sinhalese and English).Title winner of Indian Idol, Season 5, 2010.Performing live shows globally for over a decade, he is also an actor who made his debut with the Telugu film Prema Geema Jantha Nai as the lead, and his second movie was Jagadguru Adi Shankara. He has also been approached to star in Bollywood movies.Contributed the song "Rehnuma" to the soundtrack of the film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.His album Rehnuma won the GIMA for best music debut in the Non-Film category in 2010.He released his first independent music video, "Suroor-e-Ishq," for which he gained massive popularity as a composer and singer.The state government of Andhra Pradesh has honored him with the Lata Mangeshkar Award.
