Sonya Jezebel Cote has been singing and acting professionally since she was a child. Her hat collection would stagger anyone's closet; actress, singer, burlesque 'stand up' performer, voice over artist, mother, writer ... sometimes all on the same day! You may have seen her recently on the television show 'King' opposite Rossif Sutherland or on Lost Girl 'Fae-de to Black'. She just wrapped up shooting a very memorable role as Pearl on Total Frat Movie...an undeniably 'interesting' character.Her 2 CDs are on Jazz FM 91 and CBC Radio, and her music videos enjoyed rotation on Much Music and CMT. You've no doubt seen her hawking wares on countless commercials from 'Becel Heart Smart' to 'Casino Rama' to 'Rogers Internet'... Sonya is literally everywhere and enjoys the working actor status in both languages (English / French).As Cabaret artist, Sonya was the opening star of Luminato's Spiegel Tent 'n Tavern. She also created Tiger Lily's Cabaret at the Laurentian Room, a weekly sold out 20 minute traditional burlesque troupe that appeared, often blended into the audience.
