Sar comes from a life of living in low-income neighborhoods and emerged out of a hostile environment to pursue his abilities in art and film. Expressing his creativity through the medium of cinema, Sar moved to Los Angeles, California to attend the Art Institute of Los Angeles, after graduating high school. There he flourished, even receiving "Best Experimental" short film in The Art Institute of California - Los Angeles 2nd Annual Video Festival. He graduated with his AA and has since continued his work in the independent film market. Since graduating, he has continued to present his short films amongst the film festival circuit.
