Named after Saints Sheldon Robins is an award winning producer, writer and director, he has an extensive worldwide entertainment experience spanning twenty-two years. As a graduate from National University, Sheldon has a Masters Degree in Film Arts, and he has a BA in Liberal Arts from St Mary's College of California. Robins also has a Criminal Justice Pre Law background and his passion for detail resonates in his film projects. In addition to his educational qualifications he is also a published author, with work in, among other publications; "Lord of the Streets"(feature film) "Lockjaw: Rise of the Kulev Serpeant" (feature film) "Prenatal Dance with Menina" (video)"Murder 101" (feature film), "Through the Eyes of Faith" (Documentary Film) for which he won an award from the Producer's Guild of America Pro-Show. Robins is a co-writer on "Lord of the Streets," starring Academy Award winning Kris Kristofferson & DMX.With his business development skills coupled with his strategic alliances he has created an innovative and proficient structure for film financing and film distribution worldwide.Mr. Robin's expertise covers a eclectic gamut of critical areas: screenwriting, film development, film financing, film distribution, tax incentives, film marketing, social media interaction, sales, co-productions, product placement, acquisitions, branding, licensing and consumer & trade marketing at all levels. As President and CEO of Upper Laventille he has structured several distribution deals, for television, video and film. He has also distributed video titles directly to retail giants like Amazon worldwide. As President he was responsible for launching and overseeing the distribution division, also theatrically releasing a couple of thriller feature films in North America. He has also sourced, completed and structured several studio-level production deals. In the television arena, he co-produced The Black Poker Superstars International, which helped unveil Kevin Hart's true value, and has been considered the platform for "The Real Husbands of Hollywood" television reality series. The show starred Eddie Murphy, Mekhi Phifer, Kevin Hart, Katt Williams and many other celebrities. The show was the channel's #1 ranking in its time slot. As a C.E.O of his own multi media production company, Sheldon has the working experience from which to draw and build his foundation to produce successful television series and feature films.He is also a talented Producer, having earned an award for his film "Asian Invasion: the Art of Combat" filmed in Seoul Korea.
