Sharon J. Geyer

Sharon J Geyer is an artist with diverse talents from Fairfield County, CT. After moving to San Diego, CA, she attended the School of Creative and Performing Arts from 1981-1987.Back on the East Coast, in the mid-90's she became a lead female singer in a previously all male wedding band covering songs by 'Barbra Streisand', 'Karen Carpenter', 'Diana Ross', 'Crystal Gayle', 'Anita Baker', etc. She authored a suspense novel in 1996. Early 2000's she did voice over work. In 2003 she co-wrote and sang All By Myself Now which was first released in 2008 through Amazon and a host of other sites and released anew in 2012. And appeared in a Virginia car commercial in 2004.Throughout the years she focused on mixed media visual arts, building websites, computer graphics, animation and photography. In 2010 she co-wrote and registered the screenplay Thank You Amapola with the 'Writers Guild of America'. In February 2012 she joined The Sleepers and went on to co-write the script for Stay Tuned an independent film (as well as appearing in a walk-on role) for the 48 Hour Film Project of San Diego. While on this project she met 'Stacey Blanchet' and joined her production team. From there Sharon suggested they enter a contest for the (2012) Focus Forward Film competition, the team accepted the challenge and created the film "3 Moms and a Napkin" with director 'Victor Masters'. This film has circulated in(2013)Film Festivals.Throughout this time Sharon has been involved in BTS, graphic design, background work and acting for short films, commercials and cable shows as well as idea submissions, naming and branding for manufactured products.
