Sharif El-Mahdi

Sharif was born and raised in Norfolk, Virginia. He attended the University of Virginia, where he studied acting, and graduated with a degree in Marketing and M.I.S. Soon after graduating, Sharif released his first record, Kiss the Moon, and began touring behind it. Between touring and recording, Sharif spent his spare time acting and modeling. He has appeared in several major television shows and movies, and participated in the Fox reality show "Playing it Straight." Most recently, he released his second record, "Surrogate Lovers," recorded with members of Whiskeytown, Jason Mraz, and David Gray. Show less «
