Shae Wilson had just entered her freshman year in high school the day she watched a Charlie's Angels' episode and her future was set: she was determined to play the fourth angel. The next morning she tracked down the school drama teacher and gave her no choice but to get her in a drama class. Thus began her career as an actor.It wasn't Charlie's Angels that launched her acting career, it was playing the heroine. She beat out over 10,000 actors who came to Las Vegas to compete for Star Trek The Experience roles. For the next seven years she bravely battled aliens as an officer on the Starship Enterprise. Her ability to save the human race was so impressive, it landed her a lead in the sci-fi feature, War of the Planets.Shae is much more than an alien fighter. She has continued to grow in diversity through study and challenging roles in TV, film, theater, and commercials. For example in Ocean's 13, she played the soft spoken ticket agent alongside a star studded cast. Her portrayal of an harassed cocktail waitress on America's Most Wanted was so moving,, it led to the capture of an at-large criminal. She won the hearts of audiences and critics as Toby in the stage production of Niel Simon's"The Gingerbread Lady." Her charisma and naturalness in front of the camera have landed her with many commercials.Her lifelong passion for creating characters and performing spills over into improv. As an understudy with the world-famous Second City Comedy Troupe, her kooky-and convincing--characters kept audiences rolling in the aisles.Shae compliments her acting as a talented singer and dancer, which makes her a triple treat. She has wowed audiences around the country as Florence Ballard in an ensemble that impersonates the Supremes and placed first in several hip hop dance contests!Shae gives back by sharing her gift in nonpaying productions. Most recently she played a woman twice her age in "The Party" at a retirement center. During the meet and greet, residents were shocked to learn that she wasn't one of them.Shae expresses equally intense passion and dedication in her biggest roles of all-mother, daughter, sister and friend.
