Serge Kushnier

Serge Kushnier got his start as an actor performing across Canada and the US. Most notably performing in the original Broadway company of Hairspray as well as the blockbuster movie version staring John Travolta. HIs directorial debut was his short film, The Boyle Effect, which competed internationally at several film festivals. The Boyle Effect was chosen as one of eighteen films showcased as part of a New York based film festival. It screened along side Bryce Dallas Howards' film, When You Found Me, produced by her father, Ron Howard. In addition to being officially selected, The Boyle Effect received awards in New York and Flint, Michigan for Best Short. His second short, Will, was officially selected for a handful of festivals, most notably as part of the Williamsburg Film Festival summer 2013. Show less «
