In 1987, Sein Gay whose birth name is Hussein Gay and his family migrated to the United States of America. In pursuit of the American dream, Sein's parents worked hard to escape the war and poverty stricken; Haiti. Upon arrival, Sein struggled with the American language and was forced to enroll in a language program. The language program proved to be successful by helping Sein to keep up with the rest of his classmates. During his junior year in high school, Sein caught the bug for acting in a health class. The class was asked to prepare a presentation for their final grade. The presentation was comprised of both public speaking and acting. Sein overcame being a once shy person and language barriers to finding comfort speaking in front of large crowds. The class' response to Sein's presence and performance was the beginning of his acting career. Before her passing, Sein recalled his grandmother always advising him to learn as much as he can and to give back. Sein soon joined the school choir and began volunteering for the ASPCA. In 2003, Sein volunteered with casting director Lori Eastside. His volunteering paid off soon after Lori Eastside got wind of his talent. Lori was helping to cast HBO's Everyday People and brought Sein aboard the ship. While on the set of Everyday People Sein met Frantz St. Louis. The two became close friends and both shared the vision of escaping Brooklyn's violent streets to pursue their purpose passionately. On Jan 1, 2005 the two packed their suitcase with $50 and a one way Amtrak ticket to California. Sein now resides in Venice, California and is continuing to grow as an actor and a man. Show less «
