Sean Masterson is a multi-faceted improvisational actor comedian.Raised in Los Angeles, Sean moved to Chicago after high school and was quickly hired by The Second City where he worked on stage alongside Mike Myers, Steve Carrell and Bonnie Hunt, amongst others. Upon returning to LA, Sean began working with Ryan Stiles and Drew Carey, performing live improvisational comedy as a part of "The Improv All Stars". The Improv All Stars consists of alumni from The Second City, The Groundlings, Whose Line Is It Anyway and The Drew Carey Show. Along with touring the world, The Improv All Stars have been a recurring Superbowl weekend favorite at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for over a decade Sean has appeared in dozens of episodic television shows and feature films. He's had the honor to work with Directors such as Christopher Guest, Barry Levinson, John Landis, the late great John Schlesinger and Jim Henson.Sean created and co-wrote the popular VH1 web show "Home Purchasing Club" (HPC), which ran for two seasons and featured the comedy talents of Kristen Wiig, Jeff Garlin, Diedrich Bader and David Keochner. HPC was given a "cheers" in TV Guide. .Sean then created, wrote and directed "Republicrats" for MSN (Microsoft), portraying a former Fresno TV weatherman who decides to run for President of the United States. Republicrats also featured the comedic talents of Gary Anthony Williams, Janet Varney and Beth Dover. Republicrats was singled out by The Wall Street Journal, The Hollywood Reporter and TV Week as a Top Web Show. Sean was named a top ten web producer to watch by TV Week. Sean has also teamed up with long time collaborator Ryan Stiles to write and produce a half hour comedy pilot called "Memory Lanes" for the CBC in Canada.Sean and his family split their time between Los Angeles and Canada.
