Scott Edgar was born in 1972 in Melbourne, Victoria. He studied Graphic Design and Theatre Production before embarking on a rich career as a composer, writer, comedian and actor, primarily alongside Steven Gates (Gatesy) and Simon Hall (Yon), in the comedy band Tripod. Tripod have been regulars on the international live comedy and cabaret circuit, regulars on radio and television and have in the last five years concentrated on songwriting for musicals for the screen and stage.Scott is also active as a screenwriter for animation and games, and a children's book illustrator.
